BANI, FEBRUARY 12:- Bani a sub-division of Kathua district, witnessed grand celebrations of Guru Ravidas Jayanti with great enthusiasm and devotion. A large number of devotees actively participated in the event, which included a grand Shobha Yatra.
The Shobha Yatra commenced from the Guru Ravidas Temple in Bani, passing through the main market before returning to the temple premises. Throughout the procession, devotees sang hymns dedicated to Guru Ravidas Ji and pledged to follow his principles of equality and humanity.
On this auspicious occasion, Dr. Rameshwar Singh, the MLA of Bani, DDC Bani Reeta Thakur along with other dignitaries of Bani participated in the event and extended their greetings on Guru Ravidas Jayanti. In his address, he urged people to embrace the teachings of Guru Ravidas Ji, which promote equality and human values.
Devotees praised the grand success of the event, describing it as a symbol of unity and brotherhood in society. The temple committee and local administration expressed their gratitude to all supporters and devotees for making the event a success.
