Demand for Increased Night Patrolling and Strict Action Against Drugs
BANI MARCH 19 :- A public meeting was held at Bani Police Station, chaired by DSP Ameen Bhatt. The meeting was attended by SHO Suresh Raina, representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions, and respected citizens.During the meeting, local issues were discussed, and emphasis was placed on strengthening coordination between the police and the public.
DSP Ameen Bhatt stated, “The purpose of Thana Diwas is to address public grievances promptly.” He also urged citizens to report any suspicious activities to the police.On this occasion, attendees demanded increased police patrolling in the evening and nighttime and strict action against drug-related activities.
Police officials assured that necessary measures would be taken to ensure public safety. Ameen Butt also addressed the public, urging them to inform the police about any crime or suspicious activity. “Public cooperation is essential to maintaining law and order. Reporting any illegal activities, especially drug smuggling or illegal trade, is also the responsibility of citizens,” he said.
