Basholi, March 24:- A media awareness program was organized at Government High School Sialag, Basohli. The program was presided over by the school principal, Neelam Padha, Several distinguished guests, including Rakesh Kumar, Madan Lal, Vijay Kumar, Rajiv Kapoor, Ranbir Singh, Hitendra Singh, Varinder Kumar, and Ritika Thakur, along with other teachers and local dignitaries such as Om Prakash, Pathania Ram, Desh Raj, and Bittu Ram, attended the event.The chief guest of the program, journalist Mohammad Hafiz Qureshi, shed light on the importance of media, stating that it is the fourth pillar of society. He emphasized that the purpose of media is not just to provide information but also to contribute to social welfare. He also discussed the well-being of media professionals and the challenges they face.Speaking on the occasion, Principal Neelam Padha highlighted that the proper use of media can help raise awareness in society and that students can learn a lot from it.At the end of the program, all the guests were thanked. The attendees acknowledged the significant role of media and stressed the need to make it more active for the benefit of society. Dozens of students from the school were also present at the event.
