Jammu, May 8: the Divisional Commissioner Jammu has announced the closure of all educational institutions across several districts for May 9.
This directive applies to both government and private schools, colleges, and other educational establishments.The affected districts include Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, and Poonch, where all educational activities will remain suspended for the day.
The measure is being taken as a precaution to ensure the safety and security of students and staff amid ongoing developments.Further updates and instructions will be issued as per the evolving situation, the Divisional Commissioner’s office stated.
