BANI, JUNE 28:-A car accident took place this morning near Maghayar on the Bani-Basohli road, t A car registration number JK08K7941 skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge.
Two people were seriously injured in the accident. They were rescued with the help of local Range Officer Lohai-Malhar Mohd Ashraf and a local youth Amit, and were taken to CHC Bani for medical treatment.
The injured have been identified as Rakesh Sharma, son of Rattan Das, resident of Lowang Bani and Karan Singh, son of Abhiram, resident of Bani Chandel Bani.
At present, the police are investigating the incident and trying to determine the exact cause of the accident.
Dr. Rameshwar Singh, local MLA, expressed serious concern over the incident. He assured the affected families of full support and necessary assistance.
