In its early years, the classes were conducted temporarily in the Boys Hostel of the Government Higher Secondary School, as the college did not have a permanent building.
In 2022, a new building for the college was completed, and regular classes for Arts subjects began. Now, in 2025, the introduction of the Science stream marks a major academic enhancement for the region — nearly 17 years since the demand first arose.

A compliance report must be submitted to the university within one month. Additionally, physical inspection by university authorities is scheduled in the near future.
