BANI, NOVEMBER 08:- Sewa-II Power Station celebrated the 51st Raising Day of NHPC with great enthusiasm, marking 50 glorious years of the corporation’s success. The event commenced with the hoisting of the NHPC flag followed by the NHPC anthem, setting a patriotic tone for the day.
The celebration also included a special commemoration of 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’, filling the atmosphere with the spirit of nationalism through a collective rendition of the iconic song.
Power Station Head, Madan Lal Sharma, highlighted NHPC’s remarkable journey, achievements, and future goals. The event was graced by Shiv Prasad Rathore, Head of Chamera-I Power Station; Kalpataru Nayak, General Manager; senior officers; and Mridula Sharma, Chairperson of the Mahila Mandal.

A variety of cultural performances, musical chair games, tug-of-war, volleyball, and cricket matches were organized among employees and contract workers. Winners were felicitated, and participants were praised for their team spirit and enthusiasm.
Adding flavor to the celebration, food stalls set up by employees’ wives offered traditional and delicious delicacies. The event concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, marking a proud and memorable day for the NHPC family.
