Kathua, May 22: The District Administration Kathua today accorded a warm send-off to outgoing Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kathua, Vishavjeet Singh, and welcomed the incoming ADC, Mahima Madan, at a brief function held in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex here.Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rajesh Sharma, lauded the services of Vishavjeet Singh and appreciated his dedicated efforts towards effective governance, public service delivery and implementation of developmental initiatives during his tenure in the district. He wished him success in his future assignments.The Deputy Commissioner also extended a warm welcome to Mahima Madan and expressed confidence that her experience and commitment would further strengthen the district administration’s efforts towards responsive and people-centric governance.Earlier, senior officers and officials highlighted the contributions of the outgoing ADC and shared their experiences of working with him during his stint in Kathua.Speaking on the occasion, Vishavjeet Singh expressed gratitude to the district administration, officers and staff for their cooperation and support. He termed his tenure in Kathua as a rewarding experience and wished the district continued progress.The function concluded with the presentation of mementoes to the outgoing ADC and a formal welcome to the incoming ADC. Senior officers and officials of the district administration were present on the occasion.
