BANI, MAY 30:- As part of “Swachhata Pakhwada-2026”, being observed under the directions of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, NHPC Sewa-II Power Station, Mashka organized a Tree Plantation Drive near its Administrative Building to promote environmental conservation and cleanliness.

During the campaign, officials and employees of the power station actively participated and planted around 50 saplings. The initiative aimed to create awareness about the importance of tree plantation and encourage people to contribute towards building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable environment.
Speaking on the occasion, Power Station Head Madan Lal Sharma emphasized that tree plantation is not only an environmental activity but also a social and moral responsibility. He said that planting trees alone is not enough; their protection and proper care are equally important. He added that every tree planted today is a long-term investment that will benefit both present and future generations by ensuring clean air, a healthy environment, and a stable climate.
He also motivated all officers and employees present to actively participate in environmental conservation efforts by giving the slogan, “Plant Trees, Save Life.”

The Tree Plantation Drive, conducted under the Swachhata Pakhwada initiative, was a commendable step towards promoting cleanliness and environmental awareness. The campaign reflected NHPC Sewa-II’s proactive commitment to nature conservation and its vision of contributing to a greener, cleaner, and healthier India.
