BANI, FEBRUARY 08 :- MLA Bani Dr. Rameshwar Singh, Member of the Legislative Assembly from 63-Bani, has written to Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, requesting the formation of a Municipal Committee for Bani and bringing the town under municipality governance.
In his letter, Dr. Singh highlighted the rapid and unplanned urbanization in Bani, which has led to an increase in residential and commercial constructions. This uncontrolled development has resulted in severe sanitation issues and other urban challenges. He pointed out that the Rural Development Committee is struggling to manage these problems effectively.To address these concerns, Dr. Singh urged the Chief Minister to bring Bani town under municipal administration and establish a municipal committee that can oversee and manage the town’s growing urban infrastructure.This request comes as Bani witnesses significant growth, necessitating proper planning and governance to ensure better living conditions for residents.
