BANI, FEBRUARY 03:- The Community Health Center Bani is struggling with frequent power outages, severely impacting healthcare services. Local residents have demanded a separate electricity line for the hospital to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Due to constant power cuts, emergency services are disrupted, causing significant inconvenience to patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every Day Many of patients visit CHC Bani for treatment. However, frequent power failures are affecting essential medical services, including, X-ray, Laboratory, Dental Section, Labor Room, Emergency Room, and ECG services. Patients often have to wait for hours, and in critical cases, lives are at risk due to delayed treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hospital is struggling with a power crisis as its current backup system fails to meet its needs. Despite having 120 batteries, they are insufficient to provide a stable power supply. Additionally, the 70 solar-powered batteries installed earlier have completed their 10-year lifespan, rendering them ineffective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BMO Bani told Bani Update News that a \u20b924 lakh Detailed Project Report (DPR) was submitted last year, proposing a direct power supply from the Sarthali power house to the hospital.\u00a0 However, the project is yet to be approved, leaving the hospital dependent on an unreliable power backup system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A patient\u2019s relative, Javed Ahmed, has appealed to the government and administration to Provide a dedicated electricity feeder from Sarthali power house. Install new batteries and generators to ensure continuous power supply. Upgrade the solar battery system to maintain an alternative energy source for backup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congress Leader Kajal Rajput said this is a serious issue affecting people\u2019s lives. Pregnant women and newborns, in particular, suffer due to power outages. The government and administration must take urgent action. Until a separate electricity line is provided, the hospital\u2019s non-functional batteries should be replaced immediately to avoid further inconvenience to patients.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former Sarpanch Sushil Kumar said he emphasized that patients often wait long hours for electricity to return and, in many cases, leave without receiving treatment.
