Jammu, February 14, 2025 :– The Rural Development Department (RDD) of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an official notification announcing the transfer and posting of several Block Development Officers (BDOs). The decision is aimed at bridging the administrative gap and expediting development projects in rural areas.
However, after a long-standing vacancy, the post of BDO in Block Duggan of Tehsil Bani of Kathua district has finally been filled. According to the official notification, Sundar Singh has been assigned to take charge of the post, to ensure smooth completion of rural development projects in the region.
The people of Duggan thanked the media and the MLA Bani Dr Rameshwar singh s for fulfilling this demand.
