BANI, FEBRUARY 16:- The Indian Army, the Rising Star Corps, organized a Veterinary and Medical Camp at Duggan village in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. The initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the people and livestock of remote villages.

During the camp, free medical consultations, medicines, and treatments were provided to attendees. Army doctors and nursing assistants offered necessary medical care, ensuring that even those from far-flung areas received proper healthcare facilities. Additionally, a civil doctor and nurses were also present to extend their support.

The medical camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with around 65 men, 185 women, and 85 children benefiting from the services.

Furthermore, 125 livestock from surrounding villages were treated, addressing crucial veterinary needs.

The local residents highly appreciated the Indian Army’s selfless efforts in improving community health and livestock welfare. Acknowledging this noble step, villagers requested that such medical camps be organized regularly to ensure consistent healthcare access in the region.
