BANI, FEBRUARY 22 :- MLA Dr. Rameshwar organized a public darbar today in the assembly constituency and listened to the problems of the public. During this, rising electricity bills, frequent power cuts and problems related to water connections being installed under Jal Jeevan Mission were important issues.
The public expressed displeasure at the officials of the electricity department and said that electricity bills are increasing irregularly, but the supply situation in the area remains worse. Common people, businessmen and students are all upset due to frequent power cuts.
Many people complained that arbitrary bills are handed over without meter reading, which is putting additional burden on consumers.People also expressed strong displeasure over the delay in providing water connections under Jal Jeevan Mission and the poor quality of the pipeline. People said that water supply is not being done properly in many houses for months, whereas every house should get adequate water under the government scheme. Taking these problems seriously, MLA Dr. Rameshwar directed the officials of the concerned departments to resolve them immediately. He said that the problems of basic facilities like electricity and water will not be ignored and concrete steps will be taken for solution soon.The public urged the MLA to draw the attention of the government to these issues so that a permanent solution can be found to the basic problems of the Bani area.
Officials of various departments including SDM Bani, Tehsildar Bani, BDO Bani, CDPO Bani, Range Officer Bani were present in this Jan Darbar. The public put their complaints directly in front of the officials and demanded immediate solution.
