BANI, MARCH 11:– Residents of Ward No. 06 in Lowang, Tehsil Bani, have been without electricity for the past two weeks due to a damaged transformer. The prolonged power outage has caused severe difficulties, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, leaving fasting individuals struggling with daily tasks.Local residents claim that despite multiple complaints, the electricity department has failed to take effective action. They accuse the authorities of negligence, which has led to disruptions in daily life and affected small businesses and shopkeepers.The people have urged the administration to either install a new transformer or repair the old one immediately to restore electricity. According to locals, the transformer broke down on February 26, and since then, they have been demanding its repair or replacement. However, no action has been taken so far.Frustrated by the inaction, residents have warned that if the issue is not resolved within the next two days, they will be left with no choice but to stage a strong protest.
