Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir – May 5: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah chaired a high-level meeting at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar to mark the opening of government offices as part of the biannual Darbar Move.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed the importance of strengthening governance at the grassroots level and ensuring effective implementation of budgetary priorities. He called on officials to remain focused on concrete deliverables, highlighting the need to demonstrate real progress on the ground over the next six months.

“As we prepare to shift to Jammu in another six months, it is crucial that we can showcase tangible achievements despite the challenges we face,” the Chief Minister said.

The meeting was attended by senior administrative and departmental heads, who were directed to prioritize people-centric initiatives and work collaboratively to overcome existing hurdles.
