BANI, SEPTEMBER 25:-As part of the nationwide “Swachhata Hi Seva-2025” campaign initiated by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, NHPC’s Sewa-II Power Station organized a cleanliness awareness programme at Government Secondary School Khaddi and Government Secondary School Badari.

During the drive, dustbins, cleaning materials, and jute bags were distributed among the students and staff. Awareness sessions were also held to sensitize children about the harmful effects of single-use plastic and the importance of adopting eco-friendly alternatives.
On the occasion, Head of Power Station, Shri Madan Lal Sharma, emphasized the significance of inculcating cleanliness habits and environmental awareness among children. He stated, “Proper waste management is essential to maintain cleanliness and to preserve the ecosystem. By engaging schools in such initiatives, we are building a responsible and environmentally conscious generation.”
Through strategic placement of dustbins and promotion of jute bags, Sewa-II Power Station aims to encourage responsible waste disposal, prevent littering, and contribute to maintaining a clean and sustainable environment.
