BANI, SEPTEMBER 29 :- Swachhata Hi Seva – 2025 campaign, NHPC Sewa-II Power Station organized a “Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivir” for contractual sanitation workers. The initiative was conducted as per the directive of the Ministry of Power, Government of India.The programme was inaugurated by Madan Lal Sharma,
Head of Power Station. On this occasion, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Chintan, Group Senior DCMO, and Dr. Razia Sultana Shaik, Senior Medical Officer, carried out a general health check-up for the sanitation workers and also provided valuable health-related guidance.A total of 182 contractual employees underwent medical examinations during the camp. Along with health awareness sessions, personal hygiene kits comprising gloves, masks, sanitizers, and hand wash were also distributed to the workers.This initiative aimed to spread awareness about cleanliness, hygiene, and preventive healthcare among sanitation workers, ensuring their safety and well-being while reinforcing the spirit of Swachhata Hi Seva.
