BANI, FEBRUARY 04:- With the weather taking another turn, light snowfall has been recorded in the upper areas of Bani. while intermittent rain in the plains has intensified the cold. Due to this sudden change, temperatures have dropped further, increasing the chill in the region.However, this rain has come as a blessing for farmers. It is considered beneficial for Rabi crops, particularly wheat, mustard, garlic, and onions. Farmers Mohammad Tariq and Bhushan Kumar stated that this timely rain will help improve their crop yield and benefit the agricultural sector in the region.
Meanwhile, snowfall in upper areas like Sarthal, Dhagger, and Chaladhar is expected to attract more tourists. Travel enthusiasts may head to the mountains to enjoy the snowfall, which could boost local tourism and businesses.
However, the weather change has also affected daily life, with a noticeable increase in cold conditions. According to the Meteorological Department, the current weather pattern is expected to persist for the next two days.
