J&K Police Kathua Organizes Debate Competition on Nasha Mukt Abhiyan at Model HSS Basholi
KATHUA, Feb 05:- J&K Police Kathua organized a debate competition on the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan under the Civic Action Programme 2024-25 at Model Higher Secondary School (HSS) Basholi. The event saw participation from students of thirteen schools in Basholi and was aimed at raising awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
The competition was conducted in two categories: Junior and Senior. In the senior category, Mishika Arora of Vir Savarkar HSS School secured the first prize, followed by Gungun from MHSS Basholi and Nisha Rani from MHSS, who won second and third prizes, respectively. In the junior category, Aparajita of Ramisht Twinkling Star HSS claimed first place, Avantika Rajput of St. Anne’s Convent High School Basholi took second, and Kanishka Rani of Vir Savarkar HSS won third.
The winners were presented with trophies and certificates, while all 25 participants were given consolation prizes for their efforts. The program was attended by over 300 students and faculty members.

In his address, the Principal of MHSS, SDPO Basholi, and SHO Basholi emphasized the need for collective efforts in creating a drug-free society. The event concluded with refreshments for the participants.
