BANI, FEBRUARY 07:- NHPC Sewa-II Power Station organized a free medical camp in the remote Bhandar area of Bani Tehsil, Kathua district, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The camp, which attracted over 350 individuals, provided medical check-ups and essential health services to those in need.

Dr. R.K. Chintan, a medical professional from NHPC, was present at the camp and personally examined the patients. The local community received free medical consultations, medications, and health screenings, ensuring that residents had access to much-needed healthcare services.

Madan Lal Sharma, the in-charge of Sewa-II Power Station, shared that NHPC is committed not only to generating electricity but also to contributing to the development of the local community. He highlighted that NHPC is actively involved in various developmental projects in the region, with this medical camp being one of the key initiatives aimed at supporting the well-being of the residents.

The initiative was highly appreciated by the local residents, who expressed gratitude for the healthcare services provided. Many also called for more such camps to be organized in the future to continue improving access to healthcare in the area.
