BANI, FEBRUARY 07:- A sudden fire broke out this afternoon in a residential house in the Bhullari area of Bani sub-division, Kathua district, completely destroying all belongings inside. The house, owned by Mir Chand, son of Ishwar Das, was vacant as he had gone to work in the morning. The fire erupted soon after he left. Upon seeing the flames, local residents quickly rushed to the scene and worked together to control the fire. Eyewitnesses mentioned that if the fire had not been contained in time, it could have spread to several nearby houses, causing further damage.

Upon receiving the news, officials from the Revenue Department swiftly arrived at the site to assess the damage. They assured the affected family that compensation would be provided as soon as possible.
In response to the incident, Dr. Rameshwar Singh, MLA of Bani, provided financial assistance to the affected family and assured them of all possible support. He also appealed to the local community to step forward and assist the family during this difficult time.
Local residents Ratan Chand and Roop Singh took the opportunity to demand the establishment of a fire brigade service in the area, stating that such a service could have potentially prevented the incident or minimized the damage.

The community has expressed gratitude for the prompt actions taken by both the locals and the authorities, and they are hopeful for further improvements in safety measures in the area.
We urge everyone to come forward and help the families affected by the fire in Bhullari. These innocent children and families need our support. Please contribute in any way possible to help them in this difficult time. Your kindness can make a big difference.
