BANI, MAY 18:- In compliance with the of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, NHPC Sewa-II Power Station, Mashka, formally launched “Swachhta Pakhwada-2026” with various awareness and cleanliness initiatives aimed at promoting hygiene and ensuring public participation.
During the programme, all officers and employees of the power station took a cleanliness pledge and reaffirmed their commitment towards maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Motivational banners related to cleanliness were also displayed across the dam area, powerhouse, and administrative buildings to spread awareness among people.
On the occasion, Group General Manager and Head of Project, Madan Lal Sharma, administered the cleanliness pledge to officers and staff members. Shri kalpataru nayak, General Manager
Shri Sunil Kumar, Group Deputy General Manager, Shri Asit Ranjan Patnaik, Deputy General Manager along with other senior officials and employees, were also present during the event.
Addressing the gathering, officials stated that cleanliness is not merely a campaign but a collective responsibility of every citizen. Employees pledged to keep their workplaces and surrounding areas clean and to actively participate in the cleanliness drive.
As part of the “Swachhta Pakhwada-2026” celebrations, a “Selfie Point” programme was also organised, where officers and employees enthusiastically participated and expressed their support for the cleanliness campaign.
