BANI, MAY 20:- Under the directions of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, NHPC Limited’s Sewa-II Power Station, Mashka organized “Swachhta Pakhwada 2026” activities at Government High School Badhri. As part of the campaign, a painting competition on the theme of cleanliness and an awareness lecture for students were conducted.
The main objective of the program was to create awareness among students about cleanliness and motivate them to adopt a clean and healthy lifestyle.

A total of 15 students from the school participated in the painting competition and presented various messages related to cleanliness through their artwork. On this occasion, NHPC Group Senior Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. R.K. Chintan delivered a detailed lecture on hygiene and sanitation.
The program also included an awareness session conducted by the Sewa-II Power Station team under the Swachhta Pakhwada campaign. Students were informed about personal hygiene, cleanliness habits, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. They were also encouraged to keep their homes, schools, and surrounding environment clean.
During the event, Sewa-II Power Station Head Madan Lal Sharma said that cleanliness keeps both the mind and body healthy and positive. He added that such competitions play an important role in developing awareness about hygiene and health among children.
He appealed to the students not only to maintain cleanliness in their schools but also to actively contribute towards keeping their surroundings clean and spreading the message of cleanliness in society.
