BANI, APRIL 16:-  A load carrier vehicle  skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge on the Bani Koti road, causing panic in the area. Soon after the accident, soldiers of the 4th Gorkha Rifles Regiment Indian Army reached the spot and launched a prompt rescue and recovery operation. With their timely efforts, the damaged vehicle was safely pulled out from the gorge, bringing major relief to the owner.

Vehicle owner Muzafar Hussain expressed gratitude to the Indian Army and said that the quick assistance helped prevent a bigger financial loss. He appreciated the dedication, hard work, and cooperation shown by the soldiers during the difficult recovery operation. He further stated that in such remote and hilly areas, heavy machinery for vehicle recovery usually has to be brought from Pathankot or Kathua, which costs thousands of rupees. “The Army’s help saved me from a huge financial burden,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ward Member Koti Mohammad Yaseen said that whenever road accidents or emergencies occur in far-flung hilly areas, the Indian Army is always the first to come forward to help those in need. He added that in places with limited resources, the Army’s support proves to be a great relief for local residents.
