BANI, FEBRUARY 24:- The office of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Bani has introduced monthly charges for door-to-door waste collection and management for various business establishments. This decision has been taken under the Swachh Bharat Mission to improve the sanitation system in the area.
As per the issued notification, hotels, restaurants, shops, workshops, petrol pumps, and other business establishments will be required to pay monthly charges ranging from ₹300 to ₹1000. A team led by the Secretary of Panchayat Halqa Bani will collect these charges during the first week of every month. According to officials, the primary objective of this initiative is to ensure better sanitation and environmental protection in Bani.
The SDM Bani has also urged local residents to actively participate in this system to help maintain cleanliness and protect the environment in the region.
