BANI, MARCH 08 :- All schools located in the upper reaches of Zone Bani will remain closed today due to adverse weather conditions.
Officials told Bani Update Web News Portal during an interaction that the decision to suspend classwork in upper areas has been taken due to continuous rainfall in the Bani region. They said the step has been taken keeping in view the safety of school children.
The zEO Bani, Manoj Kumar Anand, has also shared the information through social media, informing the public about the closure.
Officials further added that persistent heavy rains have led to mudslides and debris on several roads in the area, making travel unsafe.
Authorities have advised parents and students to stay alert and follow official updates.
