The order states that the holiday on account of Shab-i-Qadr will now be observed on March 28, instead of March 27, in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir
JAMMU, MARCH 27:- The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced a change in the holiday schedule for Shab-e-Qadr. According to a recent order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the holiday will now be observed on March 28, 2025 (Friday), instead of March 27, 2025 (Thursday).
The decision modifies previous government orders issued on December 29, 2024, and applies to the entire Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The directive was issued by order of the Lieutenant Governor and signed by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, M. Raju, IAS.
