Kathua, March 27: In a heartwarming gesture of communal harmony and brotherhood, the Indian Army’s 4/5 Gorkha Rifles organized a grand Iftar party at Jama Masjid, Lowang in Bani Tehsil of Kathua district.
The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of around 250 people, including children, youth, and elders, who came together to break their fast and celebrate the spirit of Ramadan.The initiative aimed to strengthen the bond between the Army and the local community, fostering an atmosphere of peace and unity. The attendees expressed their joy and gratitude towards the Army for organizing such a meaningful event.
Local residents praised the efforts of the Indian Army in promoting communal harmony and understanding. The event was marked by prayers, a traditional Iftar meal, and heartfelt interactions between the soldiers and the villagers.
This noble initiative by the 4/5 Gorkha Rifles not only brought smiles to the faces of the people but also reinforced the message of peace, unity, and mutual respect among different communities.
