BANI, APRIL 14:- In a collaborative effort to promote
environment sustainability community engagement, Friends Charitable Trust organized a Chinar Tree Plantation Drive in association with the Rising Star Corps of the Indian Army.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the troops of the Rising Star Corps, ‘Chinar,’ the local tree, a symbol of Kashmir’s rich heritage and natural beauty, was the centerpiece of the plantation effort, highlighting the importance of preserving indigenous flora.
Speaking on the occasion, a spokesperson from Friends Charitable Trust expressed
gratitude to the Indian Army for their support, emphasizing the importance of such partnerships in building a greener and more sustainable future for the region.
The Rising Star Corps reaffirmed their dedication to social and environmental causes, appreciating the trust’s efforts and encouraging more such initiatives in the future.
