BANI, MAY 28:- Under the guidelines of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, a special awareness program was organized today at Sewa-II Power Station, Mashka, as part of “Swachhta Pakhwada – 2025”. On this occasion, students from Government High School, Badari, performed an impactful street play to raise awareness among the public about the harmful effects of single-use plastic and the benefits of using bags made from paper, cloth, and jute.The street play highlighted how single-use plastic is detrimental to the environment, humans, and animals. The students conveyed the message that instead of using plastic polythene bags, we should adopt reusable and biodegradable alternatives like paper, cloth, and jute bags, which are not only environmentally friendly but also easy to dispose of.On this occasion, the Head of the Power Station, Madan Lal Sharma, appealed to the public to switch to eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastic to ensure a cleaner and safer environment for future generations.At the end of the program, Sharma distributed prizes to the participating students to encourage them and also gifted cloth bags as tokens of appreciation.
