BANI, JANUARY 26:- The Indian Army under the aegis of the Rising Star Corps celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm at Government High School, Duggan, in Kathua district on Monday.
The programme began with the ceremonial unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem, creating a patriotic atmosphere across the campus. Army personnel, school staff, students and local residents actively participated in the celebrations, reflecting unity and national pride.

Addressing the gathering, Army officials highlighted the importance of the Constitution, national unity and the role of youth in nation-building. Students presented cultural performances, adding colour and vibrancy to the event.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets among students and locals, along with interactive sessions between Army personnel and community members, strengthening the bond between the armed forces and civilians.
The initiative by the Rising Star Corps was widely appreciated by residents, who lauded the Indian Army for engaging with the local community and inspiring young minds towards patriotism and service to the nation.
