BANI, 22 NOVEMBER :- Theft incidents continue to rise in the Bani region, with the latest case involving the theft of a tyre from an Alto car parked along the Bani–Upper Sarthali to Bhandar Road.
The car owner, Mohammad Abbas, stated that he had parked his vehicle on the roadside late in the evening while returning home. When he came back the next morning, he was shocked to find that one tyre of the car was missing. He suspects that it is clearly a case of theft.
Locals say such incidents have become frequent—whether it is fuel stolen from vehicles, motorcycle thefts, or now tyres being removed from cars. Residents have strongly urged the police to take strict action against those involved and increase patrolling in vulnerable areas. People have also demanded the installation of CCTV cameras at important locations to prevent such incidents.
According to locals, different roads across the Bani area have recently witnessed repeated theft cases, creating concern and frustration among the public.
