Sewa-II Power Station Organizes Exhibition to Mark 150th Anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’

BANI, JANUARY 26:-  In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, and the Corporate Office, Sewa-II Power Station, Mashka organized a grand exhibition on 24 January 2026 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’. The event aimed to highlight the historical, cultural, and national significance of Vande Mataram and to strengthen the spirit of patriotism among employees.

The programme was inaugurated by the Head of the Power Station, Madan Lal Sharma. In his inaugural address, he elaborated on the composition of Vande Mataram, its pivotal role in India’s freedom struggle, and the national consciousness it ignited among the people of the country. 

He also motivated the officers and employees to discharge their duties with dedication and a strong sense of responsibility towards the nation.

Senior officials including Kalpataru Nayak, General Manager (Electrical), Asit Ranjan Patnayak, Deputy General Manager (Electrical), along with other officers and employees, were present on the occasion.

The exhibition featured historical facts, photographs, posters, and informative materials related to Vande Mataram, which were widely appreciated by all attendees. Officers and employees participated in the programme with great enthusiasm.

The event concluded successfully, reinforcing feelings of patriotism, cultural awareness, and national unity among all participants.
