BANI, MARCH 06:- As part of the ongoing Women’s Week campaign, a Livelihood & Entrepreneurship Day was observed at the Agriculture Extension Office Bani.
The program was presided over by SDM Bani, Sandeep Kumar Sharma, who highlighted the importance of empowering women through livelihood opportunities and entrepreneurship.
During the event, women participants were encouraged to explore various income-generating activities and self-employment opportunities. Officials from the Agriculture Department shared valuable information about different government schemes, skill development initiatives, and financial assistance available for women to start their own ventures.
Addressing the gathering, SDM Bani Sandeep Kumar Sharma emphasized that women play a crucial role in strengthening the rural economy and their participation in entrepreneurship can significantly contribute to community development.
He urged women to take advantage of government programs aimed at promoting self-reliance and economic empowerment.A large number of women from different areas of Bani participated in the program and interacted with officials to gain knowledge about agriculture-based livelihoods, small-scale enterprises, and other self-employment opportunities.
The event was organized as part of the ongoing Women’s Week celebrations, aimed at promoting women’s empowerment, awareness, and participation in socio-economic activities.
