BANI, MARCH 07: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha organised a grand district-level Women Felicitation and Celebration Programme at Bani. The programme was held under the chairmanship of District President Mahila Morcha Kajal Rajput.
Addressing the gathering, District President Mahila Morcha Kajal Rajput said that International Women’s Day is an important occasion to recognise the strength, dedication, and achievements of women in every field. She said that women today are making significant contributions in education, sports, administration, and social services, and such programmes encourage them to move forward with greater confidence. She also appreciated the participation of women and young girls in the event and emphasised the need to continue working towards women’s empowerment and equal opportunities in society.
The event was attended by several prominent women leaders including District Incharge Mahila Morcha Sushma Sharma, DDC Bani Reeta Thakur, Sushma Karyal, Sushma Devi, and Rekha, who were present as special guests. Among others present were Reena Thakur, Sunita, Neelam, Kanchan, Pooja, Pushpa, and Lalita, along with a large number of women from the area who participated enthusiastically in the programme.
During the event, women and young girls who have achieved remarkable success in different fields were honoured and presented with trophies. Special recognition was given to those who have brought pride to society through their achievements in sports, education, and various professional sectors.
A 100-meter race for girls was also organised as part of the celebrations. In addition, several cultural performances were presented by participants, which added enthusiasm and inspiration to the entire programme.The event was dedicated to honouring women for their contributions and encouraging their growing participation and empowerment in society.
