BANI, MARCH 13: A suspicious balloon bearing the logo of Pakistan International Airlines was found in village Sitti of Tehsil Bani, district Kathua today, creating concern among local residents.
According to reports, children playing in the area first noticed the airplane-shaped balloon lying in a field. Realizing that something unusual had been found, local residents immediately informed the police.
Acting swiftly, a police team reached the spot and took the balloon into their custody. The item has been secured for further examination. Police officials said that the balloon has been taken into possession and an investigation is underway to determine how it reached the area. Officials added that further details will be shared after the investigation is completed.
Meanwhile, police have advised locals not to panic and to immediately inform the authorities if they notice any similar suspicious objects in the area.
