BANI, MARCH 23: NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower Navratna company, organised a free medical camp at Sandroon village in Bani tehsil of Kathua district under its CSR-SD initiative, aiming to provide accessible healthcare services to people in remote areas.

The camp was organised by NHPC Sewa-II Power Station, Mashka, and saw active participation from experienced doctors and medical staff. Free medical consultations and medicines were provided to all patients.The camp was inaugurated by kalpataru nayak, G.M. (Elect), and Sandeep Lal in the presence of former Sarpanch Uttam Chand, social activist Abdul Gani Sheikh, and other NHPC officials.

During the camp, Dr. R K Chintan, Group Senior deputy chief medical officer and the medical team examined patients and provided necessary treatment and guidance.

A total of 302 patients from nearby areas availed the free medical services, making the camp a great success. Local residents appreciated NHPC’s initiative and expressed hope for more such camps in the future.
