BANI, 07 APRIL :- Bani, located in Kathua district, is not only beautiful but also known for its typically cool weather. However, on Monday, the weather took an unexpected turn. Over the past few days, the region has witnessed clear and pleasant conditions, but today the afternoon temperature was recorded at 32 degrees Celsius — significantly higher than the area’s usual average.
According to local resident Om Prakash, such heat during this time of the year is considered unusual. Generally, in hilly areas like Bani, the early weeks of April are marked by cool weather and light chilly breezes. This sudden shift in weather has surprised many locals.He also pointed out that such a rise in temperature in regions like Bani could be a sign of environmental changes, which need to be taken seriously.
