BANI, MAY 19:- As per the directives of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, a special cleanliness drive was organized at NHPC’s Sewa-II Power Station under the “Swachhata Pakhwada – 2025” initiative. During this campaign, all employees actively participated in thoroughly cleaning their workplaces, including corridors, staircases, desks, cabins, rooms, cabinets, and almirahs, as well as the entire office premises.
On this occasion, Group General Manager (HOP) Madan Lal Sharma, urged all employees to regularly clean their work areas to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment. He emphasized that cleanliness not only enhances the beauty of the surroundings but also improves efficiency and productivity.
The Project Head also requested all staff to identify old and unused files at their workplace and dispose of them as per the prescribed procedure to ensure better office management.During the cleanliness fortnight, all departments and officials of the power station collectively monitored the cleanliness activities and ensured their successful implementation. The primary objective of this campaign was not just to ensure physical cleanliness, but also to cultivate a culture of hygiene and orderliness among employees.This initiative by Sewa-II Power Station strongly upholds the spirit of the “Swachh Bharat Mission” and serves as an inspiration for other offices.
